GAYMARINE, 40 years of INNOVATION QUALITY PROFESSIONALISM
Since the late 70’s. GAYMARINE has been a pioneer in the design and development of battery-powered underwater remotely operated vehicles (ROVs).
A four decades long history, made of passion and specialization in the development of sea defence and underwater scientific research solutions, capable to operate even in the most demanding environmental conditions.
Our history
During the 70’s, Mr. Guido Gay, president of GAYMARINE, started, in Italy, the development of his first underwater ROV, called “FILIPPO”.
The huge success of that forerunner vehicle led to the development of the first “PLUTO” ROV, forefather of the whole “PLUTO FAMILY” series of ROVs that was developed in the following decades, most of them still operating.
